Zen U. at Melbourne: Zendesk for Beginners

Join the 2014 Worldwide Zen U. Tour and enroll in Zendesk for Beginners, the first in a two-part training series.

This session is designed for people who are just getting started or are fairly new to Zendesk. Once you have learned the basics, you are welcome to attend the Advanced Zendesk session, which will cover more detailed applications of the product and provide Zendesk best practices for managing your team and support processes.

12:50pm - 1:00pm: Check-in

1:00pm - 3:00pm: Class is in session

• Agents and End-User Interfaces: High-level view of the platform
• Anatomy of a Ticket: From creation to resolution

3:00pm - 3:15pm: Coffee break

3:15pm - 5:00pm: Class is back in session

• User Experience: Time zones, language, colors, logos, widgets, and multi-branding
• Ticket Channels: Email, web portal, Twitter, chat, Facebook, feedback tabs, and a demo of Zendesk Voice

5:00pm - 6:00pm: After class ends, we invite you to stick around for some snacks 'n beer with your classmates and trainers.

Event Presenters: Your trainer for the day will be Peter Godden, a Customer Enablement Consultant for Zendesk, who has run many training sessions like these over the last 2 years. You’ll also have the opportunity to build your network and connect with other Zendeskians throughout the day.
